BACKSTORY
Daphne Morgen is a dedicated consultant and facilitator with expertise in storytelling across all age groups, emphasizing the mind-body connection and youth engagement. She has successfully founded and managed youth-led programs and safe spaces both domestically and internationally.
As the founder of The Loom Collective, Daphne creates spaces that center healing, reflection, and empowerment through storytelling, mindfulness, and movement. With a focus on amplifying voices, she has led storytelling workshops in refugee camps in Greece and Mexico, elevating the narratives of underserved youth, young adults, educators, and organizations through online magazines, podcasts, virtual reality, and Youth Advisory Boards.
Her experience extends to designing and leading project-based curriculum for middle school youth in San Francisco, CA. By weaving together mindfulness, social-emotional learning, interactive methods, and yoga, Daphne brings a strong emphasis on social justice, civic engagement, and social responsibility to her work.
Born and raised in rural Northern British Columbia, Canada, her deep connection with the wilderness, land, and animals fuels her commitment to using storytelling as a powerful tool for advocacy, empowerment, and peace.

TESTIMONIALS
I now yoke storytelling and justice together in a way I couldn’t have conceived of before meeting Daphne and joining the YES. My work with her on these – and many other programs that I seem to have run out of room to talk about – has transformed my understanding of justice and impactful change in a way that has set me up for the direction of the rest of my career.
